Isle Home Cats - Update log #1

Dearest reader.

This post marks the beginning of an once every two months update log about my next game: Isle Home Cats. For the first update, I'd like to talk about the premisse of this project.

Isle Home Cats is a story about a cat named Soneca. She lives in a house with her three cat sisters: Santa, Solene and Sueca. She also has one brother by the name of Celso, and of course, the owner of the house, an old cat who just so happens to be their mother: Céu. While they all live together under the same roof, they haven't been seeing eye-to-eye as of lately. With Celso's getting more and more unstable because of his mental condition, and with Céu getting weaker and weaker as age reaches her final steps, Soneca and her sisters must discuss (Though mostly fights), for their mom's heritage, and come to and conclusion to whoever shall caretake Celso, their "biggest burden".

Some interiors of the house.

This game is being done using the latest of "I-don't-wanna-do-programming" technology: RPG Maker MZ. And just like Owl On His Own, this game will be an adventure walking-simulator, mostly taking part inside their home, with a few occasions where you might have to wander around the isolated island to complete your daily live objectives. There are seven chapters, with each being a day of the week, so Monday through Sunday.

I don't work with deadlines, and I'll most likely never crunch with any project in my life. So I am definitely confident to tell everyone that I don't have a release date to share. It might take a year, three years, a decade! But you can be very sure that I won't be doing this as fast as I can, 'cause making games is my passion hobby, not my job.

Thanks for reading,

Own Doing.

Soneca

Soneca, the protagonist of Home Isle Cats. She's the only character I've done so far.
