Another month, another Isle Home Cat update! Let's not waste any time and jump straight into it! Right bellow we have one of the many art scenes in this game. Our protagonist, Soneca, tends to smoke when put in anxiety induced situations. And as a side note, I would like to reassure how difficult it is to draw hands. It took me a few references and retries to figure them out.
And that's it for this month. "Wait what?! That's it?!" you might have asked.
So, yeah. I'm at a point that I don't have a whole lot to show off anymore. I've pretty much created every essencial asset for the game, including art, music, coding, etc. Right now I'm planning on shipping a playable demo that should have about 20-30 minutes of gameplay, which means that I'm focused on writing dialog and making game events. These are by far the most difficult tasks in making a game, in my humble opinion. I'm also constantly giving the game some finishing touches here and there. It's mostly art passing, however they're such niche changes that I don't feel are worthy to showcase in a blog post.
Again, sorry for the lack of stuff to show off, but I'll be worth it.
Thanks for reading,
Own Doing.
