Hi everyone again! recently,
We have created a new board idea however at the moment we didn’t have all the supplies at the moment to start play testing in the new board however this will soon change in the future. As for our new play test it was difficult at first compared to our old one because of how people were familiar to the game with we created and with this play test with brand new people it was a bit difficult for them to understand the rules at first but they were able to understand them over time. With the issues being understand the dices and which dice does what and the abilities that their character chose can do. One thing to also keep in mind and make it easier for players is to specify which cards they get to keep after being used in a battle and reminding players that they can’t go over their max health unless they receive an item that lets them do so. Lastly one major issue was the character occultist who is deemed as overpowered and can also take the Berserker enemies stack that’s makes the berserker stronger. We have also received comments based off our play-test with that the issues were that "Defense seemed weird and would rather have attack win, possibly layout change so players won’t be limited to a certain amount spaces and it can make it easy for players to fight each other. Having base damage can be an improvement and can help everyone in beginning turns".
We are currently changing the rules and hope on our next play-test we'll have the issues resolved and we also plan on updating our board and play-mats along with many other design aesthetics to the game to make our theme match with all our components.
