Can't download games, keep getting JSON-RPC error 9000

I've bought a few new games lately but found that I can't download them or any previously installed games. Everytime I try, I keep getting this error which reads: Error: JSON-RPC error 9000: There is no Internet connection Yet, I can browse itch and have even posted this thread just fine. What's going on?
