I lost my save file after updating.   :(    Anyway to recover it?

What system are you on? How exactly did you update?

If you moved your save files, make sure to copy and paste the entire save folder, as the global file is needed for the game to display the saves in the loading screen.

Im on windows and I updated the game through the itch app. Also I did not copy my saves as the update was just some bugfixes. 

Thanks for the help, I got the files back now and everything was my fault
