I have played lots of rune factory. In it there is system , where you fight and tame monsters and they can help you in daily activities like farming , fighting, watering crops and you can even ride them instead of horse.
I am very much interested in rpg combat as well and also it would be interesting if they can carry stuff for you or help you in mining etc . So if you are going to implement it would be fun.
Hmm, first off, thanks for the suggestion, always appreciate it. I hadn’t considered doing things that closely to rune factory. While I like the ideas it feels sort of like that game’s hook. I feel like taking it would be seen somewhat as ripping off and idea. I will say that combat will eventually be in the game. As for monsters actually helping you out I’m not sure. I wouldn’t mind some sort of system where you can get help but I don’t know that it will be monsters doing the helping. In short I guess we’ll see, I may try to do something like this, but with a spin put on it.
