I would love to be able to region-lock my products. I have two main reasons for this, but if anyone wants to jump in with others, I'd love to hear them. I believe that region-publishing controls are beneficial for two reasons.

  1. It gives creators better control of their pricing in each country
  2. It allows for games, comics, stories, and other products that use content from the grey area of the public domain. That is, content that is PD in some countries, but still under copyright in others.

Does anyone know if itch has ever toyed with these features? It seems wild to me that in four years most of the world will be legally allowed to use all of Tolkien's writing but itch won't be able to host anything that even mentions hobbits until 2044 because it doesn't have region-specific releases.

I agree with china trying to stop daily and RANDOM rewards i agree
