There are a few complete guides with trips and tricks you can find here on the forum, but basically, you should start with only one floor, and, instead of focusing on getting singles out, focus on building a fanbase and seeking business proposals. That way, you can make some money, not spend a lot with rent, and, by the time you release your first single, you'll have enough fans to actually buy it and turn that into extra profit :)
