Hello!

Introducing Arko, a relaxing and minimalist puzzle game.

Arko is a brain-teaser where you rotate the pieces to collect the orbs and complete each puzzle.

We've started Arko a while ago and have been posting on our twitter page: https://twitter.com/RawEggDev

Here's our trailer:

So far, we've managed to create:

  • Colorful Handmade levels (choosing the right colors was a challenge, but I think we're getting pretty close!)
  • A fair amount of rotation-based mechanics
  • A very simple but fancy UI
  • A dynamic level experience through music and sound effects immersion and colorful shifting backgrounds
  • A not so terrible trailer
  • A quirky april fools joke: https://twitter.com/RawEggDev/status/1245413233437048836

We went from this:

To this:

Lately we've added:

  • The UI elements
  • The new background colors
  • A shader that makes the background color shift between two points

We also posted a short demo (with 20 levels) on itch.io.

You can try it here: https://rawegg.itch.io/arkodemo

Wishlists on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1269190/Arko/

We'll soon be posting the full Arko experience on itch.io, Steam and Play Store!

Feel free to share any ideas or feedback! :)

That was very fun to play. Got me hooked almost immediately. Only thing that bothered me was the sound that played when I messed up. Everything else was very soothing and relaxing but whenever the bass heavy "dun DUUUN" played it kind of broke the relaxing feeling for me.

This is something I'd definitely play on mobile devices with headphones.

Thank you for the very nice comment and for the insightful feedback!
