Game Idea: A non-horror 90's Edutainment-inspired point and click game

So I thought out an idea that I wrote on twitter: "A point and click game inspired by nineties edutainment titles but instead of going all-out survival horror like Baldi's Basics, its a story about you discovering the shady practices inside of an innocent kids game as a satirical commentary on franchising and how nostalgia is being milked and exploited by big-name conglomerates in recent years."

I intend to develop this into a real game with the most appropriate engine to emulate those of 90s CD-ROM games, Macromedia Director.  (Please note: I've already done two projects beforehand with that application alone along with other utilities for the images, sound, whatever.)

Not much into point and click personally, but I am into the 90's style graphics and sounds!

I liked the old edutainment like Word Rescue, maybe a grown up version of those games would be interesting.

Commentary on nostalgia being milked in recent years would be interesting for sure, I'm not sure how you go about that in game, but if you can pull it off subtly it would be better in my opinion.

I wasn't sure what kind of feedback you wanted, but i hope this helped.  :)
