Some ideas I had that will be implemented sooner or later.
Dashing
The main mechanic is to walk around, pick up trash and interrupt calls. It may be a good idea to add a dash or sprint to the character, which gets refilled after picking up trash. This would add some more strategic factor, when to use the dash. And dashing is always fun :)
Content
The content is currently quite limited. But can be extended with more NPCs and more trash. Maybe even different stages / levels which you can clear.
Abilities
It would be good to reward the player somehow. One way would be single-use perks after picking up certain amounts of trash.

(every) 10 | Recharge dash |
(every) 30 | Add throwable trash to inventory. You can throw it at people and interrupt calls |
(every) 60 | Phone jammer. You picked up enough trash to build a phone jammer which can interrupt all calls for 20 sec. |
