could you make a version just for it?
Although Windows XP can be useful for older programs or just nostalgia it's support from Microsoft is discontinued since April 8, 2014. Some of the technologies developed since 2014 could be crucial to the game's functioning so it may be completely impossible for the game to be ported to an older version of Windows such as XP.
If you have a computer running a recent version of Windows, Linux or OS X I would recommend trying to install and run the game there.
