Is there a way to end combat - I have run a few combats but I find ending combat weird. There isn't like an end combat button. Also, in a recent TPK there wasn't a way to end combat.  

Hey, right now you would mainly just load in another battle from the encounter builder or clear players/enemies in Battlemaster. I can look at adding in a button for ending combat in the near future
