Issues V.1.1

I've noticed a few issues after the latest update. The FPS drops in the price menu are gone, which is great, but now the prices of most products are displayed per 1,000 liters instead of per ton.

Another issue I've noticed (I'm not sure if it was already present before the update) is in the trailer shop. Sometimes a configuration with a smaller capacity has a higher maximum payload than a larger one, and in many cases these values are greatly exaggerated, reaching hundreds of tons for small trailers.

I think this could use some adjustment. Personally, I wouldn't even mind if the shop displayed the capacity in liters instead of maximum payload, because I think that's more intuitive when buying trailers.

With the current implementation, however, the values can be quite confusing. For example, the Salek ANS 1900 has a listed maximum payload of 25.6 t, which would imply a maximum material density of about 13,473 kg/m³. Meanwhile, the Farmtech EDK 650 (8 m³) has a maximum payload of 12.8 t, corresponding to a density of 1,600 kg/m³, which seems much more reasonable. Both trailers can transport the same materials, so most trailers appear to have incorrect values.

I hope this can be addressed in a future update.

I'm really rooting for this mod. Even as a Pole, I think the concept behind it is fantastic. Good luck with the continued development of the mod!

IRL trailers are quoted in cubic meters for capacity in the UK - generally all UK trailers of a weight class and type class are similar cubic metres, it's one part that Giants actually did correctly and makes sense to leave alone. the other thing that gets me in game is that trailers only ever have 3 rows of bales, quite common to go 5 high of 120x70 bales  or 4 high of 120 x 90

Hi coatsy,

Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it.

You've made a good point. The aim of BFU has always been to make the game feel more British, not to change things that were already realistic. Thinking about it, I agree that trailer capacities probably make more sense being shown by cubic capacity, so I'll be revisiting that for the next update.

The point about bale stacking is a good one too. I think that's probably outside the scope of BFU, but it's definitely something I'll keep in mind for a future project.

Thanks again for taking the time to comment!

Hi Clapek,

Thanks for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback, it's really appreciated.

I've had another look into the pricing issue, and I think you've helped narrow down where the problem is. It looks like some parts of the Prices menu are still using the game's original values rather than BFU's converted ones, which would explain why some products are still showing per 1,000 litres. I'll get that investigated.

As for the trailer shop, another player has also pointed out that I may have overcomplicated things a little. UK trailers are generally advertised by their cubic capacity, so I'm going to revisit that for the next update.

Thanks again for the feedback and for the kind words. It really helps improve the mod.
