I'm having trouble reading the font, can anyone give me the damage calculations used by the different weapons?

Rapier: 2 + AGI/3

Cutlass: 2 + STR/5

Club: 2 + STR/5 +AGI/5

Broadsword: STR/4 +AGI/4

Basically club always wins, so go for it. Rapier is better if your AGI have 3 more points than STR (which is rare and counter productive). Cutlass is useless. Broadsword is absolute worst in the beginning AND do not outscale anything but Cutlass (needs +1 base).

More importantly, spending 10 crystals on your weapon for +2 weapon is crucial (go pester some golems for +3 its basically double damage).

Being a mage requires you to spend like 10 crystals on your weapon if you do not intend to just burn everything.

Mostly agree, however you missed something, Rapier can cause bleeding damage (DoT). There is another that can but it doesn't matter. Go either Rapier or Club, the others... they don't exist, ignore them. Do note, bleed damage doesn't happen right away, it may take 10+ stacks of it to take effect, that said the same applies to you; so 1 stack of bleed on you does nothing, but after a few you will start to lose health to it. Nice to combo into grappling.

Bleed deals  "Bleed stacks - enemy's END" damage per turn. So its kinda never comes into play on stronger enemies (not always, they just need more HP to endure enough hits, but then... bleed itself does flat damage so its weaker against lots of base hp).
