My guess, although not being a developper:
Best case: Works with no problem.
Expected case: You could proberbly watch the scene... but would have little to no way of actually interacting with anything in game.
Worst case: Blank screen in your VR headset.

They have uploaded a free demo version of this little alpha, so you could try it out there.
But I expect some tweaking might be in order.
