Why Lag, and How to stop it in this game?

ok. I don't know if you already know about this issue, but when I generated a large world and started playing for a bit, after a certain point it started to lag badly.

I don't know if you can fix this or not or if there is a way around it... But it really gets annoying, and it's the game that's lagging.

My computers just fine... And i didn't even know a GAME itself could lag...

If there is a way to fix this i'll try it and tell you if it works or not.. I hope in the new version currently being made, That it solves this issue. it just kills my interest when it does that... Sorry if this seems like a gripe but. it just gets really annoying and I like this game and want to continue playing it.

The main source of lag in Bronze Age 2.6 is the scripting engine. It's JavaScript based, and so limited to a single thread. Most computers have multiple cores, but the script engine can only use one of them. Bronze Age 3.0 is taking a different approach, and so isn't limited in the same way.

To get around the problem, I recommend smaller worlds.

Thanks for telling Me,

Looks like i need to start a new world...

XD

What if there was an option to not have those alert buttons sweep across the screen?  That seems to slow things down noticeably.  Just have them pop up in the left-hand corner where they end up, instead of having a little parade across the top.

PS--fun game!  I'm enjoying it.
