Feature Request - Text Box Backgrounds

I've been using GameTranslate for several weeks now and I'm really impressed with the functionality! There's just one feature that would make my experience a lot better. I use the tool mostly for playing games in other languages, many of which have text boxes that pop up in various places, so I usually set 2-3 auto-translate windows in common popup spots. That works great using the transparent background feature when there is actually text being translated. But, the window turns dark grey and says "No text found" whenever there isn't any text, and gets in the way of the game screen. I often choose to close the translate windows and set them up again each time there's new text to translate. Would it be possible to add a feature to make the auto-translate boxes just as invisible when there is no text found as when they are translating something? Ie, silencing the "No text found" message and just having a transparent box with a subtle border. I think that would be very convenient.

Thanks for taking the time to develop this, and looking forward to the full release!

Hi bud,

Thank you for the feedback and the praise, really appreciate it! :)

This feature actually already exists. I am not on my PC right now and can't remember exactly what the setting is called, but you'll find it somewhere in the 'General' tab.  Should be something like 'Display failed to find text' I believe. You can also turn off the border itself and only have the window visible when you hover it (border hover unfortunately only just got fixed in the latest alpha version).

Thanks again for the feedback. Let me know if there is anything else you'd like to see improved or added! :)

Thanks for your reply! I was able to find it under "General." I thought I had looked thoroughly through the settings but I guess I missed it. It works great though, super seamless when that and the text box border are turned off.

Great to hear! :)

Yeah the UI layout/placement of things could be better.
