Steam DRM?

Hello! I'm wondering if the Steam version includes Steam's DRM. Due to reasons I won't get into, it's much easier for me to buy via Steam. But I really don't like having my tools tethered to Steam,  and I would prefer it if they ran totally independently (aside from deliberate downloads/updates). Unfortunately, because of Steam's stock DRM, most apps require the background process to be running in order to function. That said, some apps, Aseprite and Lossless Scaling for example, opt to remove this; I can run Aseprite just fine without having Steam open, and even with it open it doesn't register as being played in Steam. So basically, does it have the DRM or not?

Hello, no DRM on Steam too. You can go through the files and launch the .exe without any issue.
