Future path?

How much are you planning on supporting the game?  I've caught a few bugs and spelling mistakes, and I was wondering if you wanted me to log them and post them.

Also, I was hoping that the free play is so good and needs a little support to be even better.  Were you planning on doing that, or were you planning on supporting similar games in the future?  The game is great, and I hope to see more like it.

Developer

I’m still very actively developing Coffee Story. Since Ukuzala is built on its framework, some of the features, optimization and content will trickle down. At the moment, however, the difference is substantial and updating the framework would take a lot of effort. (new bugs, testing, workarounds for obsolete code, etc) There’s a checklist of features that I want to clear and a good position for Coffee Story to be in before I consider tackling an update.

Could I just use the old code for an update? Yeah. But players want content, not a notification that typos and bugs have been fixed.

I am not in a particular hurry, because, well, the audience is very niche and support is a monetary sinkhole. Thus I’d rather treat it the same way I do Coffee Story - as a passion project. The update will come eventually, purely because I like the concept, but it’s just not a priority right now.

If you would like to report bugs or give feedback, do so on Discord. I don’t keep track anywhere else.

Thanks for the reply!

I had been eyeing Ukuzala for close to 5 months before finally pulling the trigger and buying it (wasn't sure it was my thing?)  but it was SO GOOD.  Very minimal, but amazing for a single person fetish passion project.  Like everybody, I had my feedback, ran into bugs, but I understand that maintaining these projects isn't easy, especially if it's only getting like $100 a month.

But the Free Play is something I've been going back to.  It's weirdly alluring.  Which is why I would love to see it polished, or even rebooted with expanded features.  I'd definitely pay $20 for the expanded 'Free Play' update.  Maybe I'll drop in the Discord, but I wouldn't want to pester you with bug reports and feature requests unless they were wanted.
