Hi!

I'm working on a 2D platformer called Juan’s Adventure, inspired by Papa Louie: When Pizzas Attack and Super Meat Boy.
The game is being made in Godot, and I’m looking for people interested in helping with different parts of the project.

This is an unpaid/volunteer project, but the game is planned for PC and later consoles, so you'll be fully credited.

What I Offer

  • Your name in the game credits + itch.io page

  • A fun creative project

  • Possibility of future collabs

  • Being part of an indie release planned for PC and consoles

[LFS] Music Help

I’m looking for someone to create music for:

  • Main Menu Theme

  • Title Screen Theme

  • World 1 Theme

  • More tracks later

Music style is flexible and can vary. Inspirations include Super Meat Boy and the playful vibe of Papa Louie.

[LFS] Code Review / Programming Guidance

Looking for someone who can:

  • Check my Godot scripts

  • Suggest improvements

  • Help fix bugs

  • Give advice on clean structure and performance

(You don’t need to code the whole game — just help review.)

[LFS] Playtesters

Anyone can join!

You can help by:

  • Testing early prototypes

  • Reporting bugs

  • Giving feedback on controls, menus, ideas, etc.

No experience needed.

Current Progress

Here’s what I have so far:

  • Autosave warning screen

  • Working on the animation for the first cutscene

  • Title screen + early UI

  • Planning movement system, enemies, and levels

(Still early development!)

If You Want to Join

Reply with:

  • What you want to help with

  • A sample (optional for music/code)

Thanks!

Hej, I can help with music. I am a composer and you can check out some of the stuff I made on my itch.io page and on my youtube channel: Takoyaki - YouTube
Let me know if this is something that interests you!

Hi! Thanks for replying!

I listened to some of your work and I think your style could fit Juan’s Adventure really well!
Before I explain the full details of the soundtrack, I wanted to ask:
What’s the best way to contact you?
(Discord, email, itch.io messages, etc.)

Once I know how to reach you, I can send the soundtrack references and everything you need.
Thanks again for your interest!

Hej, thanks for listening to the music. Easiest way to reach out to me is via discord (takoyaki64), then we can talk more about the details via DM.
