Together with my brother, we’re creating our very first game — Epitaphoria. A game that will envelop you in a dark, mysterious, and gothic atmosphere. The deeper you go, the more you’ll face grim, blood-chilling experiences.
You play as a young boy living with his father in the uneasy town of Herehola. At the start of the game, a radio broadcast reports yet another series of gruesome events — children have been found in their beds, murdered with inhuman brutality. It’s been happening for some time now, and no one knows why.
During dinner with your father, an argument breaks out. You can’t sit at the same table with someone pretending nothing ever went wrong in your family, so you leave and go to your room… and fall asleep.
Oh, unfortunate soul… Is it a dream, or is it reality? You awaken in a completely different place. Mr. Stern has found you — and taken you into his world. He is your new father now.
It’s terrifying here. You feel uneasy. But you are not alone. There are other children. You must escape.
While searching for a way out of this nightmare… will you uncover the secret behind this world?
That’s the current draft of our story. Epitaphoria is a point-and-click adventure game. Besides exploring and solving puzzles, you’ll also have to face encounters with Mr. Stern and other lurking dangers. Every decision, every word, and every action will have consequences by the end of the game. Be careful.
