i love this game, but man. the wand pulls you towards the enemies really aggressively; i can't count how many times i finish killing an enemy, just to be pulled into another at the last moment. okay, yeah; i'm playing right now, and i just got pulled into the enemy i was sucking twice in a row, when i was trying to move away from it

unrelated, but it's really hard to press v when moving with wasd lol

As a general rule, you will have your pointer finger free when you stop moving to eat a ghost, which you will be forced to do anyways. In old school beat em ups, you also grabbed by overlapping enemies. That, and they have remapping coming up as well.

problem is, i've never played a beat-em-up. it's not that big of a problem though

You oughta start, starting with Ninja Saviors Once Again, maybe The Punisher afterwards. G&J is kinda like a beat em up itself.

yeah, they're just not my kinda thing. thanks for the recommendations, though!

It's generally recommended to let go of the enemy if you get close, as some will tug more aggressively than others.

However, you can utilize bumping into the enemy strategically to gain invulnerability frames at the cost of 5 hp instead of getting grabbed and losing more.

yeah, those slimy purple guys are brutal lol
