I purchased so as to acquire the .pdx so that I can sideload onto my Playdate.
Is the .pdx listed elsewhere?

I was under the impression that the Playdate had a web browser.

Not in the official catalog (https://play.date/games/search/?q=&sort=rank&category=apps&submit=Search) but there are 3rd party apps on itch.io & elsewhere that have been developed with some web functionality.
In exchange for purchase, the listing indicates I would be able to download "BEAT LIGHT.pdx 46 MB", but this is in fact an html file & not a .pdx that I would be able to sideload if it were in the format listed.
I was eager to try this otherwise aesthetically appealing game out on device & the images provided lead me to believe that the monochrome version could be played on a playdate~

Sorry to say, but no - games are loaded on in .pdx format. I just purchased the bundle, and it appears that this and local multiplayer bowling both are incompatible which is rather disappointing. Upon closer inspection I notice the images in both games actually do use shades of grey, rather than 1-bit color with patterning to simulate the gradient between black and white. You may want to download the Playdate SDK to try to make the game compatible, assuming it's in lua or can be converted.
