How do I shut down itch.io app when I'm not using Flowscape?

I'm not a gamer (though I love games and gamers) I do different things with my PC. I installed FlowScape via itch.io ap but the ap takes almost 1/2 gig of my precious ram when not running. I can't find a way to shut it down when I'm through using FlowScape.

Can I uninstall the ap and install FlowScape standalone? I'm on Win10-64bit.

Thanks.

I do not use steam or the itch.io app. I download FlowScape  from the FlowScape  page on itch.io when new version become available.

Thanks for replying. I'll give it a try that way.

All okay.

I uninstalled itch.io app but it left all the files. I removed them from both appdata/local-low and appdata/roaming and popped the one from the zip directly into appdata/roaming. Voila. I even made a couple scenes today.

This program is amazing and fun!
