Hello! I’m Joshua Miller, a recent graduate (Bachelors of Science, Game Studies and Design) and indie producer working under the name WholeWheatGames Studio. I’ve been building game concepts and systems for a few years, and now I’m putting together a small team to bring my latest project to life.
The Project: Testaments of Rem: MarketPace!!
"Testaments of Rem: MarketPace!!" is a story-driven, action-adventure RPG that begins in the seemingly simple setting of a grocery store—but evolves into a cosmic epic of wizards, celestial beings, and reality-shaping conflict.
You play as Freeform, a young wizard whose carefree imagination collides with destiny. What begins as a quest to collect sandwich ingredients spirals into a battle against Mallord, a duck sorcerer bent on destruction, and Krellic, a scientist serving the cosmic horror known as Dexter King.
Blending humor, surrealism, and deep lore, MarketPace is the gateway into the larger Testaments of Rem universe.

Core Gameplay
- Genre: Action RPG / Adventure
- Perspective: 2D or 3D (side-view or 3D Third Person)
- Combat: Magic-focused, fast-paced duels, boss encounters, and environmental hazards.
- Progression: Collect spells, parry attacks, dash with upgrades, star-throw mechanics (lob, strike, auto-track).
- Exploration: Multi-level “Sunflower Supermarket” (a pocket universe containing bizarre dungeons, bounty rooms, and cosmic secrets).
Target Audience: - Players who enjoy surreal humor, layered lore, and experimental Linear storytelling.
- Fans of action RPGs and Platformers like Kingdom Hearts, Undertale, Sonic, and Mario.
