Hello! I need some help with the Inheritance function. ૮( ⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝)ა

I was wondering if there was a limit on the parts you can inherit? 
Since I wanted to add "Gemplate C" to "Chain D" (It's on Earring D right now cause I wanted to check if I can even link it at all lmao) and I click "Chain D" but nothing happens but when I choose smth different, like "Earring D", it works. 

Though I am quite a bit confused since I do have parts that have more than 5 splits in the Inheritance Graph.

I'll need to see the details of the movement settings for Chain D, Gemplate C and Earring D, as well as a few seconds of footage with it attached to each one.
