Adam Warlocks card Cosmic Awareness 

Hero Action (thwart): Remove 3 threat from a scheme and discard up to 4 cards from the top of your deck → remove 1 additional threat from that scheme for each different aspect discarded this way (Aggression, Justice, Leadership and Protection)

If you select more cards than there are in your deck no threat is removed from the scheme, not even the 3 initial, if you select less than or equal to your remaining cards, it works as expected.

Thank you for reporting the bug regarding card “21039” (Cosmic Awareness).

However, we do not consider this a bug.

As we discussed here, we believe that the “Remove 3 threat” part is not a cost in this effect. When you attempt to discard more cards than are available in your deck, the cost is not met, which prevents any threat from being removed.

If the 3 threat is not part of the cost, shouldn't that threat still be removed even if the deck runs out? As the only thing after the arrow is additional threat.

I tested some scenarios with 2 cards left in my deck and got this.
Discard 1 (aspect) -> 4 threat was removed
Discard 2 (aspect and neutral) -> 4 threat was removed
Discard 3+ -> No threat was removed.

But I agree, strictly RAW it's unclear as the cost arrow is mandatory.
