when i go to settings and click toggle gamepad it does nothing, pressing g does nothing, If i play regular nuclear throne it now does nothing as well, so now im stuck and i dont want to remap my steamdecks controls with keyboard keys. help meeee.

This turned out to be something related to using 9944 (on u98?) instead of a more recent ntt_development.
