I’ve released a free browser-based adventure game called The End of Summer Break.

This one is also based on my own experiences. As a result, I think it turned into a game that fits August 31 perfectly. (The Japanese version was released on August 31, 2025.)

In Japan, suicides among people under 18 spike on September 1—the day after summer vacation ends. The main reason is that they don’t want to go back to school. I made this game with the hope of reducing even a small part of that tragedy.

This game has two different endings and takes about five minutes to finish. I hope you’ll give it a try!
