Hello, no link to download the V40 exepet the demo... (???).  Thanks.

Same for me.  maybe a last minute bug ?

Developer

Hello,

Version 7.7.40 has been uploaded yesterday, I can see it on the page;

Hi, not for me, only old demo version and Android.

Tested on Smartphone and computer (Chrome, Firefox and Opera) and i have the same problem.

Idem, no PC version 40, only DEMO in V.39...

Developer

OK, well I guess itch glitched out because it definitely is here^^

I will delete version 7.7.40 to re upload version 7.7.40 then... LOL

Developer

Not sure how, but some people have already downloaded version 7.7.40, and I haven't reuploaded it yet

So, this is definitely an itch problem

Developer

Everything has been re uploaded

If it is still not showing, then I am out of solutions, everything is 100% there

no better for me, tested on 2 PCs 3 different browsers and also in private mode. I think you should open a ticket at itch.

Developer

it is showing on any device I use, I even took my friend’s phone, tablet, PC

7.7.40 appears everywhere :/

Opening a ticket is the only solution I am afraid

I open a ticket to Itch support.

Developer

thank you

Developer

all I did with 7.7.40 is increase the price of the game to match Steam’s

Now, if you tell me that itch prevents users to download the game because they paid one price and the price changed, that’s bullshit and I will be complaining to them!

I don't have answer yet from Itch support, but since few minutes i have this, Can you confirm this is ok ? 3 version for computers in .40 and Android one in .39 ? (For paid version)

It's ok now.  Many thanks to you...

Developer

jeez wtf so if I want to adjust the pricing of the game everybody loses access to it? That is the dumbest thing I’ve seen

I cannot promise you guys that I will continue working with itch in the future…

If you drop Itch, please chose GoG. I'm willing to pay for the game again if it comes out on GoG.

understand...thanks...discount for us ?  ;-)

That would be really unfortunate, considering that I just bought Hex of Steel. My issue is that I use FreeBSD as my operating system. Hex of Steel runs perfectly fine under Wine, but Steam is still a PITA in this environment.

If itch.io support were to be discontinued, it would be great to offer HoS on another DRM-free store (GOG is the most obvious choice).

Gog is the best choice yes.  I'm ready ro re-paid to have HoS on GoG if needed...thanks for the work...

Developer

I will not ask anybody to pay more than once for the game guys :)

👍🙂
