Hello!
I'm working on an Action/RPG game project with an open (but small) world. The setting is medieval fantasy with elements of realism in gameplay. I'm the author of the lore, a game designer (with experience in creating game design documentation), as well as a narrative screenwriter and an aspiring level designer.
The project is designed for a target audience of players who used to play Skyrim, the Witcher series, Ghost of Tsushima, and RPG projects from the 2000s, such as Gothic and Two Worlds. The story will be told from the perspective of Gregor, a mercenary who is afflicted with a disease believed to be a blessing from the Ancient race, which was destroyed by the Gods centuries ago. As the story unfolds, players will be immersed in Gregor's journey and explore a new world filled with intriguing locations and gameplay mechanics.
Currently, I am working on the project alone. Together with one of my friends (as a portfolio for him), we created the first prototype using ready-made assets. I can provide screenshots and a link to the build if the candidate is interested.
I am also looking for funding, but I can only offer volunteer work as part of this project.
Who am I looking for in the project:
- 2 Unreal Engine developers (blueprints or C++) (1 found)
- 2 3D designers (1 found)
- 2 level designers (1 found)
- 1-2 Sound designers (1 found)
More can be added if potential volunteers are interested in the project and the conditions of cooperation described here. It is also planned to record animations independently, but this will only be possible to implement in the remote work mode if the necessary equipment is available (which requires a special amount of finances).
Experience is not important, the main thing is to have seen and played in the Action/RPG genres, as well as the points mentioned in the team search conclusion.
If you are interested, please write here or at my email address (mvetchanin@gmail.com) and specify the following:
- The desired position in the project
- A convenient communication channel for you (gmail or your preferred social network)
- How much time can you devote to the project per week or per day?
I'll be waiting for your messages! Also will be happy to answer any questions you may have about this project.
