i went out on a mission with a person who joined me, and he died. I revived him, but he does not have full health anymore. Can i give him full health? And also, how do you upgrade your health?

you can craft a health kit  from the build-able tool bench or go back to your base and disband and have him rejoin you. You can upgrade your health from one of the build-able upgrade [fitness] objects.
