https://mateordo22.itch.io/softdecay This is it, I published it just a day ago, but I know it won't have any sales, what do you think it needs to get at least 1 sale?

https://kenmi-art.itch.io/cute-fantasy-rpg ... think the problem is you are competing with lots of many skilled artists. If you want to sell you might choose some "niche" where you are not competing with the "main tilesets" out there ... do some research ... maybe there some themes like "under water" which are underrepresented. But wouldn't go for this directly... if you want to sell ... think you should spend more time refining your "pixel art skills" first... then create a "larger tileset" over a longer period of time. For me personally if I have the choice to spend 5 Dollars to get a "great looking tileset" or 1 Dollar to get an okeyish looking one i would go for the 5 Dollar.

So in summary for me personally:

1. spend more time learning from resources how to do "good pixel art"... there are some good tutorials on something like udemy, but they usally cost money (maybe you can find something good for free as well)

2.  Add more tiles

thanks!

I would also suggest doing some cheap (or even free) commissions in “Help Wanted” section with the condition that you keep the rights to re-sell the assets you provide. This way you can get detailed feedback and experience for making sure your art is useful at least for somebody.
