Hello Folks,

I would like to introduce myself along with my new game,Island Fever for the GBC platform.

My name is Caleb Arthur and I wrote the story for the game Island Fever. For the last 6 months, myself and developer Robert Doman have been hard at work in bringing our ideas to life in an Adventure style Gameboy Color Game.  Island Fever is a military themed adventure game loosely based on my time spent in the US Navy living on the tropical island of Diego Garcia.

I wanted to recreate the layout of the Island exactly as I remembered it all the way back in the early 2000's, and Robert did a great job of that. The Island of Diego Garcia still operates as a strategic military base with a bit of a controversial past. This is where I had the idea to lightly brush on, and let the player explore and research for themselves. As the island is off limits to civilians, I wanted everyone to be able to travel there (in 8-bit glory of course) or at least know of its existence.  I am proud to present to you Island Fever, I hope it brings you hours of fun and nostalgia.

Welcome to Island Fever

South of the equator, in the Indian Ocean, lies a strategic military base occupied by the US, and UK governments. The mission is unknown, kept classified by soldiers and sailors sworn to secrecy.

Play as yourself recruited to Diego Garcia, and discover what is behind this new strange sickness infecting the island's troops.
