I've started the game not too long ago but when I wanted to fight in the forest for a quest, apart from removing the collar, I cannot do anything! No normal attack, no magic, anything at all. 

Maybe I've just missed a dialog or a starting a quest idk.

You should definitely be able to use your normal attack.

Yeah, strange, I've restarted the game and gone a little bit further in the story and now everything works perfectly. I've panicked for nothing sorry🤣
