I'm using google chrome and when I press the save button and select a slot, it remains empty. (Added context: I opened the game with it zoomed out)

How unfortunate to hear. Were you using private/incognito mode? Chrome might prevent data storage in private mode, preventing saving Nevermind, it's also happening for me, I will look into it
