May 11, 2025 Update!

✨ NEW FEATURES ADDED!

• 💾 Automatic Game Saving! Your progress is now automatically saved!

  • The game state saves every 30 seconds, ensuring you don’t lose much progress.
  • All your game data is preserved even if you close the browser tab or window!

• 🔄 Auto-Load on Startup! Jumping back into Niboochi is now seamless!

  • The game will automatically load your last saved session when you open it.
  • Your pet’s status, inventory items, and overall progress will be exactly as you left them. 👍

• 🎵 New Background Music System! A completely new system for in-game music. (Note: This entry seems similar to one in the May 13th changelog, confirming the system was likely introduced or updated around this time).

• 🎮 Start Screen with Music Unlock! The game now begins with a simple welcome screen. (Note: This entry also appears similar to one in the May 13th changelog).

• 🔇 Improved Sound Toggle Buttons! The sound and music toggle buttons have been redesigned. (Note: Similar to a May 13th entry).

• 🖱️ Interactive Niboochi Click Event! Clicking on Niboochi now makes them react happily. (Note: Similar to a May 13th entry).

• 🚫 Anti-Spam Click Protection! Rapid clicking on Niboochi is now limited. (Note: Similar to a May 13th entry).

• ✨ Animated Jump Effect! Niboochi now performs a smooth, joyful hop when clicked. (Note: Similar to a May 13th entry).

• 🌙 Dark Mode Feature Added! A new Dark Mode has been added to the game! (Note: Similar to a May 13th entry).

• 🎀 Kawaii Visual Upgrade! Completely redesigned pet with cuter proportions and expressions. (Note: Similar to a May 13th entry).

• 🎩 Hat Collection System! A system to collect and equip hats has been added. (Note: Similar to a May 13th entry).

🔧 IMPROVEMENTS:

• 🔐 Better Data Protection: We’ve enhanced the way game data is stored.

  • Your game state is now better preserved, even if you accidentally close the browser without manually saving.
  • Important data like your pet’s stats and inventory is constantly backed up automatically. ✅

• 🎨 Visual Consistency: Ensuring your pet looks the same every time you play!

  • Your pet’s equipped hat color is now correctly saved and loaded between sessions for a consistent appearance.

🐞 FIXES:

• ⚰️ Fixed Game Over State: A crucial fix related to the game over state.
  • Saved data is now properly cleared when your pet’s life ends.
  • This ensures you get a genuinely fresh start when restarting the game after a game over event.

✨ WHAT’S NEW:

• 📜 Basic Daily Quest System Introduced! A brand-new daily quest system is now live!

  • Complete exciting quests to earn valuable rewards, including experience (XP) and useful consumable items. 🎁
  • Quests refresh automatically when one in-game day passes. (Note: This is based on in-game time, not real-world time).

• ⏳ Button Cooldown System Added! We’ve implemented a cooldown system on certain action buttons (like Feed, Play, etc.).

  • This prevents rapid “spamming” of actions, ensuring smoother and more balanced gameplay. 👍
  • You’ll see a visual indicator on the button showing when it’s ready to be used again.

• 🎵 Revamped Background Music System! The game now features a completely new background music system.

  • Enjoy a pleasant, melodic tune with a rhythm and deliberate pauses, replacing the previous continuous tone. 🎶
  • This creates a much more charming and less intrusive ambient sound experience.

• 🎮 Start Screen & Music Control! The game now begins with a simple welcome screen.

  • Music and sound effects will only start playing once you click the “Start Game” button.
  • This helps ensure compatibility with browser autoplay restrictions and gives you control over when the audio begins. ▶️

• 🔇 Improved Sound Toggle Buttons! The buttons for toggling sound and music have received a visual and functional upgrade.

  • Redesigned with clearer icons and better visual feedback. 👀
  • They now have more intuitive behavior and visually reflect their active/inactive states through opacity changes.

• 🖱️ Interactive Niboochi Click Event! Your Niboochi is now more responsive to your touch!

  • Clicking on your pet will make them react happily! 😊
  • Includes a positive message, a cheerful sound effect, and a small, animated jump from Niboochi!

• 🚫 Anti-Spam Click Protection! To prevent animation glitches and excessive reactions, rapid clicking on Niboochi is now limited.

  • A short cooldown is applied after clicking, ensuring smooth interactions.

• ✨ Animated Jump Effect! Niboochi now performs a smooth and joyful hop when you click on them.

  • This new jump animation is carefully integrated and does not interfere with the pet’s existing float animation.

• 🌙 Dark Mode Feature Added! Introducing a brand-new visual theme!

  • A Dark Mode is now available, offering a more comfortable viewing experience, especially in low light. 🌃
  • Easily switch between the light and dark themes using the new Theme Toggle Button in the settings menu.

• 🎀 Kawaii Visual Upgrade - Pet Redesign! Your Niboochi has been completely redesigned with cuter proportions and more expressive features! 🥰

  • New Facial Features: Includes dynamic eyes with blinking, adorable blush marks, and enhanced mouth shapes for better expressions.
  • Smoother Animations: All emotional states (happy, hungry, sick, sleeping) now have much smoother and more fluid animations.

• 🎩 Hat Collection System! Accessorize your Niboochi with stylish hats!

  • Collect 6 unique hats, including the Baseball Cap, Crown, Wizard Hat, Party Hat, Cowboy Hat, and even Cat Ears! 🧢👑🧙🎉🤠🐱
  • Unlock new hats as rewards every 2 levels you gain!
  • Simply click the hat item in your inventory to cycle through and equip the hats you’ve collected.

🔧 BUG FIXES:

• Fixed an issue where some messages were being cut off during certain game events.
• Resolved various functionality and display issues related to switching hats.

🐞 BUG FIXES & TWEAKS

• 📱 Minigame buttons have been repositioned for significantly better mobile responsiveness across devices.
• 🔧 Corrected minor emoji alignment issues (±1px) on the wizard and Santa hats for perfect positioning.
• 🌑 Improved Dark Mode contrast specifically for items displayed in the shop, making them easier to see.

🔊 SOUND IMPROVEMENTS

• Resolved persistent audio glitches that could occur on older devices during minigame sessions.
• Balanced volume levels for both the background music and sound effects for a more pleasant audio experience. 🎧

🎮 MINIGAME POLISH

• 🍓 Catch the Fruits: Implemented smoother physics for falling fruits, making the catching feel more natural and responsive.
• 🧠 Memory: Optimized the card-flip animation for a snappier and more satisfying reveal when playing.

⭐ IMPROVEMENTS & BUG FIXES:

• 📊 Enhanced Status Bars: The bars showing your pet’s Hunger, Happiness, Energy, and Hygiene are now more visually responsive.

  • They have smoother transitions when their values change.
  • They will blink clearly when a status drops below 20% to let you know your pet needs urgent attention! 👀
  • What you’ll notice: Status bars that update more smoothly, and a clear blinking effect when a stat is critically low.

• 🏆 New Achievement System: We’ve added a system to track your progress and reward you for reaching various milestones in the game!

  • Complete achievements like leveling up, earning money, or performing actions to earn special rewards. 🎉
  • What you’ll notice: A new section showing achievements you can earn, and rewards when you complete them.

• ⏱️ Better Cooldown Timers: Now, when you use an action like Feed or Play, you’ll clearly see on the button how much time is left before you can use it again.

  • The button will turn grey to show it’s not available.
  • If you save and load your game, the cooldown times will still be there! ⏳
  • What you’ll notice: Buttons that disable and show a circle filling up with the time remaining before you can use them again.

• 🐾 More Fun and Realistic Animations: Your pet’s animations, like when it jumps or bounces, now look smoother with more natural movement.

  • We also made the animation for when it’s sick a bit more noticeable. 🤒
  • What you’ll notice: Your pet moves in a more lively and expressive way, and it’s easier to tell when it needs medicine. 😊

• 🧹 Cleaner Memory Game: We’ve adjusted something internally in the memory game to make it run more efficiently.

  • It doesn’t change how you play, it just improves its performance “behind the scenes.”
  • What you’ll notice: The memory game should work just as well, with no visible changes to the gameplay! 👍

• 🎩 Hats Always Ready: We fixed a small error related to hats.

  • When you restart the game, your pet will always correctly put its basic hat back on. ✅
  • If the pet reaches a final state, the hat will no longer look like a strange shape, but will disappear as it should.
  • What you’ll notice: The starting hat will always be there when you begin a new game or restart, and you won’t see weird things if the game ends.

• 💡 Suggestion for Better Eye Blinking: This is a note for a future visual improvement.

  • An idea was noted in the code to try a different way for the pet’s eyes to blink so it looks even better. ✨
  • What you’ll notice: Nothing new for now, but it’s a hint of a possible visual improvement in the future!

• 🏞️ Stable Background: We fixed a problem that sometimes made the game’s background look weird or different after restarting.

  • Now the background will always show up as it should. 👌
  • What you’ll notice: The game’s background looks correct and doesn’t change unexpectedly.
