We are happy to announce our first addition to Itch.io with fungi.game! 

fungi.game is a strategic online multiplayer, and by collecting mass you can grow from a single cell to a multicellular organism. In the microscopic world in which you compete against the rest of the world (up to 50 at the same time) it is eat or be eaten, in a battle to become the biggest. The more players there are, the more interesting and harder it gets. Try to make it into the top 10 and immortalize your name in the hall of fame. 

fungi.game is not your average “eat enemies, grow bigger” type of game. So don’t be fooled by the minimalistic design, there are many ways to play. You can be defensive and stay in a couple of spots whilst blocking your cells, you can go around eating food and try to avoid everybody bursting your way trough the map, you can be aggressive and go straight for the attack with powerups or you can even try to do these all at once! Trying different strategies will go a long way.
