No no, it's not that I have problems in changing keys, I'm just saying that this became the default after the update (at least for me). In other words, the key combination for putting objects in place (The old ALT + R combo) was automatically reassigned to ALT + SHIFT + R on my game, which makes it weird to use in comparison to the old version.
It could be a conflict with nvidia control panel or something else built into your pc. If something else uses alt+r then the game keybind won't work. This happened to me and i had to change my keybinds for nvidia.
