Can't install my game via the Itch.io app - throws an error when installing

Hey guys,

I have uploaded my game to the site and tried to install it via the itch.io app. Itch.io app throws an error when trying to install. It seems to append a " 2" to the game name for some reason, which I think is the problem.

My game page is here EverGlade by Tristan559 password is "sheltercove"

Here's a screenshot of the error I am getting. Notice it adds " 2" at the end of the name of the game.

I have filed a ticket with support and am still waiting to hear back. My ticket request number is 273877.

I thought I would post here as well to see if anyone might know what the issue is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello!

The itch.io app is adding a " 2" to your game "EverGlade" during installation, likely due to an internal naming conflict. Check your game's dashboard on the itch.io website for any inconsistencies in titles, slugs, or build identifiers. Review previous uploads or drafts for potential conflicts. While you've contacted support, also examine your build file names. This TxTag issue likely requires itch.io support to resolve the underlying name collision within their system.

Is there a way to change the  name of the game directory somehow? i.e change the game URL or another method?
