I think having the ability to add text when editing a chip would be great. for example, if my chip has several 7 segment displays, when editing the chip i should be able to add text so when i later use the chip, the displays are ;labels as whatever they are used for, data, address, program, etc  

in a fit of serendipity, I actually put this in a github issue as a "nice to have"
