Hey, I'm a developer part of a small team of hobbyists looking for people to collaborate on a 60 Seconds Reatomized styled game! The gist of the game is you search your house for items to add to a bunker before a catastrophic volcanic eruption. You have a limited time to gather supplies. After this, use the collected items to survive until rescue.
The team is about 6 people consisted of development, music and sound design, writing, and 2D/3D art
Looking for:
3D artist, mainly looking for someone to model and design the house and props. Character design and animation are covered so designing levels and environments will be the main focus. The style we're aiming for is low-poly and cartoony. The house layouts are randomized in game so after creating a bunch of props, we'll work on making different layouts so it feels fresh to players for a while.
Writing/Narrative designer, the game's story is told from the character's perspective in their notebook/journal. They write down every interaction such as random events, planned expeditions, or general journal entries. The bulk of the writing will be designing events that occur at random points in the game. Basically, everything that can go wrong or right depending on how players choose to approach the situation given different options such as items/characters to use. Some of the writing is simply for immersive elements like journal entries. I have been doing most of the writing so far, mainly looking for someone to assist in expanding and writing some of my ideas for the game as well as creating new ones of their own.
So far, we've made a ton of progress on gameplay, writing, and lots of 2D art! This project would suit anyone looking to build their portfolio or for the fun of working as a team!
