it keeps saying there is a problem with the network

i tried with that zip thing but it takes more than half an hour to download and then you must convert the thing to your google account somewhere etc, it does not stop, why is it not possible to download via the usual way? like other regular games? why not via Steam? it is not available there, I am tired of it
