I saw Sebastian in his latest video when he was placing the components (e.g. at 2:45 where he was making the grid of d-latches) that a grid on the background popped up. Is that available in this version?

You can toggle the visual grid using Ctrl + G but the grid only works if you hold Ctrl whilst placing components.
