Once you acquire 20 characters, it can become a handful. I have 2 suggestions for improving quality of life.

1. add a clean all feature

2. add feed all feature, feed all will exclude zombies. 

I agree, this would help make taking care of your people less tedious. However, there ARE methods in game that allow you to bypass these issues. 1. you could try to grant your people the need not eat trait or ensure that there are many supply rooms around the dungeon (if someone is hungry and they're near one, they'll go it it and take from the storage to feed themselves). making sure there's plenty of showers spread out across your base allows your people to clean themselves.

But really, they only take care of themselves if they really need it, so your people may be a bit sad (but if you're turning on 3speed and just letting the game run, the auto functions are nice).
