Here is my current list (not complete) of features that i'm hoping to implement in Town of Thieves. Any thoughts on these or any ideas you have, please comment.  They are also in priority order (at time of writing/update), so you can see what i'm currently focused on.   Will try and keep this up to date!

  • Adding flavour text for action success or failure, giving the player a better understanding of what gang setups are better for different actions.
  • Balancing, still need work on costs and action rewards.
  • Complete a sandbox mode,  to allow different start/win conditions, difficulty.
  • Currently a limit on number of gangs and characters, need to re-organise the GUI to deal with this. Will probably be other GUI improvements as the game develops.
  • More focus on your individual gang members, more stats and behaviours. May change  the current 3 class types, to have a general recruit, and then develop gang members as you wish. May need a character upkeep cost per turn.
  • Graphic improvements, i have higher resolution assets, that i will implement.  Would also like to add animations, of town inhabitants and gang placements.
  • SFX, would like to give it the noise of a city, to give a better experience. Different buildings give different FX.
  • Moving on from sandbox, i'd like to implement different scenarios, which could lead on to a campaign mode.
  • A tutorial, would be very useful, so would like to add that.
  • More buildings and actions, giving more complexity to the game.
  • Save game functionality.
  • Language translations.
  • Key remapping.
  • Should be able to provide mac and linux version.
