Im on the itch desktop web app for context, but can anyone tell me why i cant download the free version? when i click install it just says "no compatible versions found"

if you have not been able to download it yet, then you should be able to through the website instead of the app, it can be a bit annoying, cause it wont show up in your library, but you shouldn't have any issues with doing it that way. I have not tried this yet, though i have with other games that have the same issue and had no issue. no clue why it's like this, but if i had to guess, it's something to do with how the author labels the file when setting things up on itch, cause typicaly it can change when the game updates, though not always.
