I only follow this game since about v0.12 (which seems to be since the start of 2023). But as far as I can tell there was no need to "buy" this game so far.
However, I am aware that there is the option to give money to the creator nonetheless. If you did that, maybe you can ask Siren if there's some way to factor that in.
