Difficulty Levels

Time for my first suggestion in this category (I forget where to post).

There are three difficulty tiers; Easy, Normal and Hard.

Easy:

  • Only has a small fragment of difficulty taken away from it (remember, this is a hard game)
  • You are immune to sawblades
  • Given two skill points per level instead of one

Normal:

  • The standard game today

Hard:

  • Clones do not recieve upgrades after they are created
  • AI is beyond titanium in Bronze
  • One hit anywhere can kill you
  • There is a timer - if you exceed that timer, you die.
  • Timer shortens gradually over levels (but there is a limit, of course)M
  • More enemies in earlier tiers
  • Enemies start to appear below their usual tier
  • Enemies are immune to sawblades, but you are not
  • If you die on a low level (level 1-4) you get a message mocking you for your ignorance and stupidity
  • If you die on a medium level (level 5-10) then you get a message that shows they are impressed, telling you that you are one of the best
  • If you die on a late level (11-24) then you get a message praising you for your utter skill
  • If you die on level 25, then you get a message claiming that you hack.
  • If you die past level 25 (that isn't a multiple of five) you get a message praising you, and saying that you are one of the best (if you did not hack).
  • If you die past level 25 (that IS a multiple of five) then you get a medium-length conversation, discussing on whether this robot was hacked and given special powers.
